How does the image library work?

To use an image in an e-mail or in a survey, you first need to add it to the image library. To do this:

From the survey editor

  1. Via the survey parameters , activate the Logo.
  2. Click on Add (or Replace if there is already a logo in your survey).
  3. You can then add an image to your library by dragging and dropping your file or by clicking on the drop zone and fetching your image from your file explorer.

From the e-mail editor

  1. Insert an image element in the email.
  2. From the properties of the image element, click on Add (or Replace if there is already an image).
  3. You can then add an image to your library by dragging and dropping your file or by clicking on the drop zone and fetching your image from your file explorer.

Images must meet the following criteria:

  • File format : *.PNG, *.JPG, *.GIF (PNG files support transparent backgrounds).
  • File size: 1 MB maximum.

The library can contain a maximum of 60 images. It is shared between all surveys and users in your company.

How to delete an image from the library

❗To ensure consistency and avoid display errors, certain restrictions apply to deleting images from the library:

  1. Images used in surveys:
    • Published surveys: Images used in published surveys cannot be removed from the library.
    • Draft surveys: Images in draft surveys cannot be removed from the library.
  2. Images used in emails:
    • Published emails: Images used in published emails cannot be removed from the library.
    • Draft emails: Images in draft emails cannot be removed from the library.
    • Recent emails: Images in emails sent less than 7 days ago cannot be removed from the library to avoid broken links in emails.

Accessing the image library:

  • Open the image library from the survey or e-mail editor.
  • Hover over the thumbnail of the image and if the image is not used in any of the cases mentioned above, click on the trash icon to delete it.
    • Otherwise, the recycle bin will be greyed out and a tooltip will inform you that the image is in use.

💡 Tip: To maintain a well-organised image library, regularly delete images that are no longer needed and not used in any active survey.
